System Requirements

  • Adobe Illustrator CS2, CS3, CS4 and CS5
  • Operating system (any):
    • Mac OS X v.10.4.10 through v.10.6
    • Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or higher
    • Microsoft Windows Vista
    • Microsoft Windows 7
  • 512Mb, although at least 1Gb RAM is recommended (4Gb recommended when producing complex full separations using Phantasm CS Studio and Publisher)
  • Only 2MB of free hard disc space is required to install any Phantasm CS edition; however a spare 200MB is recommended to operate Illustrator.
  • Screen resolution of 1024 x 768 is minimum.

Requirements notes

Adobe recommend these system requirements (for the latest edition of Illustrator) to operate Illustrator alone.

Please note: as with all leading-edge design and publishing packages, the higher end of the basic requirements are strongly recommended for sensible operation.
