USA Tour: Thanks to the Bay Area Illustrator User Group!

Last night, Nick and Jo spoke at the Bay Area Illustrator User Group in the wonderful setting of Adobe’s SF impressive offices.
Originally a warehouse, the stage was set in their ground floor meeting and canteen area. With two massive projected screens, a serious PA system and an expectant crowd, there was absolutely no pressure… really!
And thanks to some very kind technical assistance from Terry at Adobe before kick-off, it went smoothly.

With prizes galore from both Adobe, the group organisers and Astute Graphics (thousands of $$$ in total!) everybody walked away happy which was very nice to see. The reactions from the audience made it so much easier for us, so thank you all.
Saunders Leaf
The talk is the first time we revealed the “Saunders Leaf” test. Those who were present may comment on this topic which started and ended the talk, but we’ll discuss this again at the LA User Group session next week and reveal more upon our return. Suffice it to say, it’s now a corner stone of AG developments…

A wonderful writeup by Adobe’s Aaron is now also available at: http://blogs.adobe.com/community/2012/10/illustrator-is-not-just-for-illustrators-anymore-sf-bay-ilug.html
