Save the date…

It’s only a month away before we set off for the States on the Astute Graphics Road Trip. Our itinerary is pretty much finalised now and looks extremely busy and exciting! Our first stop on Monday 1 October will be visiting Adobe in Seattle (hope we wont be sleepless!) before moving on to Portland to see the Wacom development centre. We’re throwing in a bit of culture and sightseeing with a peek at the famous Spruce Goose in Oregon, shame Leo wont be there…
Anyway, then it’s on to San Francisco and Los Angeles where we will be giving presentations at the AIGA and Illustrator User Groups. These are on Thursday 4 October (San Fran) and Tuesday 9th (LA) where all are welcome as we’d love to meet as many of you as possible! So save the date and we’ll publish exact times and venues a bit later on! Along the way we will be meeting several leading designers to interview them about their work and to discover what more we can do at Astute Graphics to help designers in their workflow.
Oklahoma city is our next stopover and here we will also be giving another presentation on Wednesday 10th October before finishing our tour in NYC where together with meeting clients we will also be meeting one of our main in-house developers for the first time who lives in the States and works remotely for us. Then it’s off back home to the UK to put all the information and research we’ve collected into action (well at least Nick will be going home, I’ll be staying on for a bit to catch my breath and catch up with friends!).
Keep looking at our blog for updates before our trip and during, there’ll be some unusual and interesting stuff on there we promise!
Oh and by the way, what do you think of our road trip logo, isn’t it superb?! Next week the designer Von Glitschka will be explaining the design process for this on our blog!

That sound like a nice business trip! I’m sure it will be really exciting… and yes, Von’s logo is amazing as usual.
