Something which has plagued a very small percentage of VectorScribe users on the Mac has bugged us for 6 months. The strange “…Filter…” error message (reported here) remained illusive to ourselves and the majority of beta testers.

Astute Graphics is pleased to announce VectorScribe version 1.2 has been released, which is a free upgrade to all existing customers and those within the 7 day full trial period.
This upgrade brings a series of key enhancements to the Dynamic Measure PathScribe, and the Dynamic Shapes tools. The focus of this upgrade is to introduce features requested by users which furthers the overall workflow flexibility.
These important updates are highly recommended for all users.

In October 2010, it was announced that Appogee (www.appogee.com) would become the exclusive USA distributor of Astute Graphics’ Phantasm CS plug-ins for Adobe Illustrator. In the time following that announcement, Appogee has proved to be an excellent service provider to their customers who purchased Astute Graphics’ products.
With both Appogee and Astute Graphics experiencing excellent growth throughout 2011, it became evident that our core markets were diverging. This has resulted in a mutual decision for Astute Graphics to once again sell directly to customers in the USA.
Astute Graphics will continue to support all customers who purchased Phantasm CS through Appogee.
We wish Appogee, especially Kristie, Tim and Caroline, our very best wishes as they continue to grow and build on their excellent reputation as Apple Specialists throughout the USA.

The inaugural London International Technology Show, organised by major UK publishing house Dennis Publishing, ran between 21 and 23 October at London’s ExCel venue. Astute Graphics was present at the event with both a stand as well as sponsoring the Von Glitschka Vector Basic Training seminar.

The great Von Glitschka Vector Basic Training event is nearly upon us! This coming Saturday, in association with MacUser magazine and alongside the London International Technology Show, Von will enlighten the audience with his acclaimed vector design workflow methods. The techniques discussed, in an entertaining way, will allow you to get the best from your time behind the likes of Adobe Illustrator.
